About PDX Junk Removal & Hauling
Founded in Portland in 2016, we started with a simple belief: getting rid of unwanted items shouldn't involve rude haulers, surprise fees, or unnecessary landfill waste.
Locally Owned. Eco-Driven.
Unlike massive national franchises with generic call centers and inflated corporate franchise fees, PDX Junk Removal & Hauling is an independent, owner-operated hauling crew based right here in the Portland metro area.
When you call or text us, you are speaking directly to our local dispatch team who know Portland traffic, neighborhood access streets, and county transfer station regulations. We provide honest upfront pricing before we touch a single item.
Our 85% Landfill Diversion Promise
Oregon has some of the most progressive environmental standards in the nation, and we take our role in the community seriously. When we load a trailer, we don't just dump everything at the Metro transfer station:
- Donation First: Usable furniture, appliances, kitchen items, and clothing are sorted and delivered to local Portland charitable non-profits including Community Warehouse, Habitat for Humanity ReStore, and local shelters.
- Metal & E-Waste Recycling: Scrap metal, copper, steel, and electronics are separated for regional recycling facilities.
- Organic Yard Waste: Tree trimmings, blackberry vines, and untreated wood are taken to commercial composting facilities to create organic compost.
